    About Patricia Cochran

My journey to becoming a mental health therapist started in my home country Brazil where I earned my B.S. in Psychology. I knew from a young age that I wanted to listen to others stories and help with their suffering.

Shortly after graduation I moved to the US to have new experiences that could enrich my mind and soul. In Colorado I earned my M.A. in marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling. In the last 10 years I have worked with people struggling with addiction, couples in high conflict relationships and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma.

In the meantime while learning from clients and becoming more experienced I built a family of my own. My husband and I have two adorable and energetic young children. We love enjoying the mountains in beautiful Colorado, although my favorite place in the world is still the beaches in Brazil.

I love being part of someone’s journey of growth and change. I believe that the healing process begins with a professional relationship between client and counselor. A relationship built on respect, acceptance, and trust.

Are you ready to take the first step?

    My Values

    Support

I believe people shouldn't suffer alone. Healing is a process that requires support and you deserve my support through your journey.

    Compassion

"If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete". Jack Kornfield

Compassion is instrumental in the healing process and you are worthy of mine and yours.

    Acceptance

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be yourself and heal. My approach to counseling is based on positive regard for the person in my care.
